We are excited to welcome over 830 students to our College in 2022 across Years 7,8 and 9. It is hard to believe that we are heading into our third year as a College. We are so proud of our existing students and are looking forward to getting to know our new Year 7 members of the Foxwell Family.

ENTRY TO SCHOOL

To be COVID safe, next Monday the 7th of February entry to the school will be different to usual. Please see below for details. Unfortunately with COVID Safety Plan requires that no parents will be permitted on site to drop their child off unless pre-arrangements have been made due to their child's vulnerability.

Year 7 students will enter through the main front gates and make their way to the Sports Performance Centre to collect their timetable and for a briefing.

Year 8 students will enter via gate near the lecture theatre under the direction of staff. Signage and staff will be on hand to guide the way. Year 8 students will collect their timetable from teachers stationed on the ground verandah. When the bell rings, Year 8 students will go directly to their period 1 class.

Year 9 students will enter through the gate at the new Performing Arts Centre. Year 9 students will move to the centre court area and will collect their timetables from teachers stationed there. When the bell rings, Year 9 students will go directly to their period 1 class.

LOCKERS - MOBILE PHONES

On Monday no students should be on the verandahs before school unless they have already been assigned their 2022 locker.

For those who have paid their locker hire fee for 2022, by 5pm Sunday 6th February, lockers will be assigned during the course of Monday. Until that time, if students have a mobile phone they are to keep it in their bag and once they have been allocated a locker, ensure the phone is secured there.

UNIFORM

All students are to wear their full formal uniform on Monday including the formal hat, all black, plain leather shoes and accepted school bag.

We understand that there has been some delays with uniform availability. If your child has an item on backorder please attend the uniform shop on Saturday the 5th of February between 8.00-11.30am or Monday the 7th of February between 8.00-8.30am to discuss your free substitute formal uniform item.

If in the event of extreme extenuating circumstances, your child is unable to wear the full formal uniform on Monday, please ensure you complete the Application for Temporary Uniform Variation form and send it with your child.
