Japan Foundation Video Matsuri Contest
In our Year 7 and 8 classes, we are making a film and encourage students to get creative and enter the Japan Foundation Video Matsuri Contest to be in the running to win awards and prizes. This contest closes on September 1st and class teachers can assist your child with this entry.
2022 Japanese Art Competition
We invite students from all year levels to join in the Foxwell State Secondary College's Japanese Art Competition.
To enter, create an artwork inspired by Katsushika Hokusai’s iconic piece The Great Wave off Kanagawa (1831) and share the artwork to any Japanese teacher (Seesaw or email).
Entries close at the end of Term 3. If you have any questions, email Ms Yoshino (myosh15@eq.edu.au).
Here are our past winners for inspiration.
