Racquel Wilson
Racquel Wilson has returned to the Gold Coast this term after living and teaching in Christchurch New Zealand for the past year. She has six years experience as a Mathematics and Science teacher throughout South East QLD and the South Burnett. With a background in Marine Biology, Racquel is particularly passionate about the environment and sustainability. As a teacher she loves to support students to discover and develop their passions. Racquel prides herself on being a dedicated educator who prioritises students' success as well as their holistic development and happiness. She is motivated by the belief that every person can be a successful life-long learner and enjoys seeing students engaged in their learning and challenging themselves. Racquel is excited to become a part of the Foxwell community and is looking forward to connecting with students and their families.
Susan Raisson

Sue Raisson has been a teacher for quite a few years. She began her teaching career as a primary Physical Education teacher and taught PE for almost 10 years. She then moved into the classroom and taught at quite a few State Schools across Brisbane and then many local schools such as Mt Warren Park SS, Ormeau and was a foundation teacher at Coomera Rivers SS. In this time, she also had interesting experiences in Deputy Principal roles at Mt Warren, Ormeau, Helensvale, Mt Tamborine and Oxenford schools. Sue was a part of the Flying Start pilot program and made a change to secondary teaching as a foundation teacher at Pimpama SSC, where she mostly taught English and Humanities up to senior years. Sue also had a role at Beenleigh SHS as HoD of Junior Secondary, preparing the school for the introduction of Year 7 into secondary school and was the Literacy HoD at Pimpama as programs were developed. Sue’s sporting background is netball and she has also been a long-time coach, manager and convenor at Regional, State and National levels of 12 years Netball. Sue is really excited to be teaching at Foxwell SSC and especially focussed on Year 7, her favourite year level.
