Welcome back to Term 2!

Year 7 and 8 Japanese

This term, we look forward to helping students develop their skills in reading and listening to Japanese texts. Students in all year levels will apply their understanding of the Japanese language and scripts (hiragana, katakana and kanji) and language to understand short written and multimodal texts.

Key topics are:

Year 7: Omoiyari - Compassion

Year 8: Matsuri - Festival

Anime Japanese: Tokimeki -  the feeling of nostalgia and Kizuna - positive relationships

Year 10 Japanese: Oshare -  trendy/fashionable
