Term Two is shaping up to be a huge term in the Arts Department.  

Rehearsals are well under way for many events including our Creative Voices students preparing their entries for the Gold Coast Secondary Schools Drama Festival.

Our Dance Troupe have been busy rehearsing and polishing for their many performances over Eisteddfod season.

Our choir and Instrumental students have been working tirelessly to bring together their performances for the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.

Art Club also had its first meeting today with students eager to explore the medium of painting.  This is open to any student who has a keen interest in Art and will run each Thursday at lunch time in the H Block Art Studios.

Broadcasting Club students have also been busy capturing evidence of all of these events as they develop and refine their skills in photography and editing.

It has been heart warming to see so many of our Foxwell students take every opportunity provided to them.  I can't wait to attend the many events that they will shine in over this term.

I can't thank our Arts staff enough for all that they do to provide our students with these opportunities to shine.  They really are an amazing bunch of creative educators who make me so proud each and every day.
