It has been great to see the excitement from students as they engage in their many subjects across The Arts for Semester Two. Year 10 Drama students have begun their study of Shakepeare with Mr Berrell and are having a blast. Mrs Dwyer's Year 9 Art students are already producing some incredible sketches and have started responding to the works of artists.  Year 10 Music and Sound Production were popular choices for students this semester and they are having fun creating music with Mrs Cardno. Miss Wilkie's Year 9 Dance class have been having a great time getting to know each other and discover their strenghts in Dance.  Mr Power and his Year 10 Film Production students are well under way to analysing and creating films.  The buzz around Mrs Riches' Musical Theatre course is super exciting and they were already on their feet singing and dancing in their first lesson.

The Arts provide valuable experiences for our students and help develop and extend on the skills of collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving as well as communication and confidence.  Students within the Arts are able to take these skills into whatever future career path they select.
