Students across Year 7 and 8 Social World are in the busy beginning stages of assessment.  Task sheets have been distributed and annotated on Seesaw.  I encourage you to ask your students to show and explain their tasks to you and also to take note of the checkpoint due dates.  One of the greatest ways that we can check for student's understanding is by having them explain something back to us in their own words.  If your student cannot explain the task to you, I encourage them to check back in with their teacher for clarification.

It is important that students are meeting drafting due dates so that they can receive valuable feedback on their progress from teachers. Students will be uploading all planning and drafting work to Seesaw. If you feel like your student could benefit from extra support, I encourage you to reach out to their teacher or discuss WIN time with your student.
