Hello Families, 

We would like to introduce ourselves as the two Head of Departments for Student Wellbeing, Engagement & Learning (SWEL) here at Foxwell State Secondary College. 

For Semester 2, the Head of Department SWEL Year 7 & 8 is Mr Bryce Berrell. Mr Berrell has been a part of our team since the beginning of last year as a member of the Head of Year team. He is incredibly passionate about working with our students and building strong partnerships with our students, families and local community. Mr Berrell is super excited to work with our students to ensure that they reach their ultimate success throughout their time here at Foxwell SSC. As a part of the work he does here at our school, Mr Berrell is also a teacher within our Arts Faculty, dedicating his time and effort to allow our students an opportunity to share their voice and story in their chosen profession. As the new Head of Department for Student Well-being, Engagement, and Learning Year 9 & 10, Caysha Renton is excited to contribute to our amazing community after many years working in Logan. She cannot thank Foxwell SSC enough for the wonderful reception! In her initial 5 weeks, she’s had the pleasure of connecting with your children and the exceptional Foxwell team and is very grateful for this opportunity. If you see Caysha at any school events, please come and say hello! She was very pleased by the many parents who came and greeted her at student-led conferences.
