Can you believe we are half way through the term already?
Students are busy researching, drafting and creating their persuasive texts in Social World English. Classes have been hives of activity as students embark on this process. Draft dates across Year 7 and 8 English are rapidly approaching, so please check in with your student to ensure that they are on track to achieve success.
It is timely to also remind you that Foxwell offers W.I.N time each morning from 8am and each afternoon until 4pm. Students are encouraged to access this time to access extra help with their assessment. Teachers will be working with your student to ensure that they are submitting full and complete drafts. This allows our teachers to give the most accurate and helpful feedback. All drafts and feedback will be on your student's Seesaw for you to access. If you are concerned about your student's progress, I encourage you to make contact with their teacher for feedback and strategies to implement at home to assist your student to achieve success.
Social World Arts sees students planning, creating and rehearsing across Dance, Drama, Visual Art and Media. While most of the work for these subjects is produced in class, it would be helpful to ask your student what they are up to and how they are progressing and tracking towards success.
