As 2023 draws to a close, I’d like to thank the students of Year 10, who have been wonderfully warm and welcoming to me in my first year at the College. While it hasn’t always been easy as the Foundation cohort, I have loved witnessing your growth and resilience. You are developing into great leaders whether you wear a badge or not, and this is something we have spoken about at length this year.

Parents and guardians, thank you for your engagement as we have worked together to challenge and support our students. There are many exciting moments ahead for our young people, and your continued involvement will stand them in good stead to embrace the opportunities ahead and successes I know they will achieve.

Year 10s, unfortunately I will not be working with you as your Head of Year in 2024 as I’ll be Head of Year 8 next year, but I hope you continue chatting with me around campus or in the classroom and give me updates on how you’re going. I wish you all the best of luck as you start your journey in the Fusion Years in 2024!
