Principal's Report
Here at Foxwell State Secondary College we are beyond excited to welcome our Year 7 students back to school this coming Monday 25th May.
In what has been an unprecedented time for our global community, what has stood out to me is the support of students and families for each other within our school. The generosity and respect demonstrated is deeply appreciated by us all. Our school community has remained connected and our established communication channels have held us in great stead.
In the preparation for the first day there are a number of important things to consider and do. When you drop your child to school on Monday, we ask that you remain in your car. Should you need to speak with administration regarding any matter, or contact our uniform shop about the purchase of uniforms, please phone the school administration where we will provide further guidance. This will remain in place until further notice.
This is an important transition moment for our students, as such we ask that you take some time over the coming weekend to talk with your child about their return to school. A number of resources have been included within this bulletin to support you and your family in your child’s return.
We acknowledge that there will be mixed emotions come Monday morning for our parents and our students. We assure you as parents that we will do all that we can to make this return a positive moment in students' lives.
It will be great to have our Foxwell Family back together in one place!
Until next week,
Kym Amor
