Rebooting School Sport
As per the Education Department’s guidelines which are in keeping with the easing of COVID-19 restrictions to Stage 3, we will continue organising sports activities at school, whilst ensuring shared equipment is sanitised before and after use. We will remain vigilant in promoting good hand hygiene with students and staff.
In addition to school-based sporting activities, Queensland State School inter-school sport and representative school sport (both indoor and outdoor) will begin a staged reintroduction in Term 3, from 10 July 2020.
Inter-school and representative sport will run across the next semester with a selection of sports being offered to students. It is unfortunate that not all sports will be offered however there will be a diverse range of opportunities for students to be involved in. Students, who had been selected earlier this year and their sport is going ahead in the revised program, should have already received an email notification from South Coast School Sport.
