Uniform Reminders
A massive thank you to our community for continuing to support our high expectations around our uniform and appearance. Thank you to those families who have worked with us this week to resolve breaches of the relevant policy so that students were well placed to start the year correctly attired; together we can ensure that our students wear their uniform with pride. Overall, we are delighted with how well our students have presented themselves this last week, in both their uniform and general appearance as well as their behaviour and conduct. They are indeed a credit to our community.
Please ensure when your child is attending school in their formal uniform, that he/she is wearing black lace up leather shoes which cover the entire foot– these can be black leather dress shoes or black leather sports shoes. The formal hat is required to be worn at all times when students are outside the classroom, including travelling to and from school. Required socks are either plain white crew socks or our College socks. The College socks must be worn for formal occasions, on excursions and upon request of the College administration.
Please ensure that when your child is attending school in their sports uniform that he/she is wearing plain black (leather or non-leather) sports style shoes with minimal branding or other colours, which includes the sole. The College bucket hat is required to be worn at all times when students are outside the classroom, including travelling to and from school. College socks must be worn for formal occasions, on excursions and upon request of College administration.
Students who are out of uniform on any day are required to present a signed note of explanation from a parent/guardian to Student Services, prior to the start of the school day. Students who present out of uniform and without a parent/guardian note of explanation, may, if the matter cannot be resolved with a phone call home, be required to complete a 20-minute detention on the same day.
Thank you for your support in maintaining our high standards and expectations.
