Student and Staff Safety on Site
In order to ensure the safety of our students and staff whilst on campus, we have in place processes for managing visitors to our College. If you are here to collect your child during the school day, please come to Executive Services so that we can assist you. Please be reminded that it is a requirement that parents and carers notify Student Services if they need to collect their child during the day so that we can arrange for her/him to be ready and waiting under our supervison. Students should not be contacting parents/carers from their iPads or phones asking to be collected from school. For example, a student whom feels unwell should present at Student Services for admission to the Sick Bay. Our staff then will contact parents/carers to explain the concern and organise an early depature from school.
If you are collecting your child after school has finished, for example, from WIN Time in The Learning Hub, please let the supervising teacher know that you are there to collect your child and your child's name. This allows us to ensure that students are safe. In general, members of the public can not access College facilities unless they are here for an event or other approved activity and have signed in.
These processes are in place to ensure the effective management and supervision of our students and staff and form part of our workplace health and safety procedures, such as during an evacuation or lockdown. Thank you for prioritising the safety of our College Community by adhering to our processes.
