We are getting excited about our 2021 Athletics Carnival which will take place next Friday 18 June.

This is a free event for the whole College. All students will meet at the College at our regular start time and then travel by bus to the Griffith University Athletics Track in Southport.

All Students who arrive at School will be transported to the track. There will be no regular classes or staff supervision of students on this day. 

Students must wear full sports uniform and sports hat but are able to bring along house coloured accessories, shirts to wear over the top of sports uniforms, temporary hair colour and face paint.

Parents/carers are also welcome to attend but we ask that you remain in the designated parent areas on the day. Please note there will be limited parking. 

Permission forms came home this week by email and as a hard copy and these must be returned by Tuesday 15 June for students to be able to attend.  

There is also a permission form that must be completed and returned by students who would like to compete in high-risk events, such as high jump, discus or javelin.

Most events will be completed on the day; however, 1500m, 800m and javelin will be held at school during lunchtimes in Week 10.  

We encourage all students to come along for a fun-filled day outside and a great opportunity to build house and school spirit!!
