From Mr.V’s Keyboard (Foxwell Chaplain)
Chaplains provide social, emotional and spiritual support to students, staff and families.
But what does that look like? I hear you ask.
Here are some examples:
Students often get anxious around exam time and just need someone to offload to and encourage them not to give up, be prepared and work hard.
In the classroom, Chaplains support staff and assist students' learning by being an extra set of hands.
Families might be supported through things such as food bank assistance or through offering some tips. Parenting can be hard work and I have found this website helpful in my own parenting journey.
This is a great resource to help parents who have questions about sleep. Check it out:
Until next time
