This week, Year 7 and 8 students have engaged in hands on learning in their Maths classes. 

Year 7s have participated in treasure hunts and rotation activities connecting real world ideas to their learning of measurement and shape.

In Year 8, students have engaged in collaborative activities learning about circles and how Pi is one of the coolest concepts in Maths! They have used their iPads to discover and record circular shapes in the school, then applied Mathematical knowledge to calculate and solve various real world problems.
