Student ID Cards

Student identification cards have now been printed and will be distributed to students on Monday the 24th February during the final period of the day.

Please ensure your child keeps their ID card safe as this is used for a number of different things throughout the school year, including as proof of age for the purpose of public transport. Important information such as student identification number and MIS ID can be found on the Student ID card.

Student Immunisations

Gold Coast Health is providing free vaccinations for all Year 7 students on Wednesday 29th April as part of the Queensland Health’s annual School Immunisation Program. All Year 7 students are being offered free vaccinations as recommended on the National Immunisation Program to protect against vaccine preventable diseases. Students will be offered human papillomaviras (HPV) and diphtheria-tetanus-pertrussis (whooping cough) vaccination.

The vaccinations will be conducted by a team of authorised registered nurses and/or medical practitioners.

Within the coming weeks you will receive an email from Queensland Health in reference to immunisations with directions. If you do not have access to this email, a consent pack is available for pick up from school administration. Please read the information provided by Queensland Health carefully, and should you wish to proceed, provide consent via the directions provided

 Parent, legal guardians or authorised persons are encouraged to ensure their children have eaten breakfast on the morning of the vaccination.
