As you are aware, there has been a significant increase in Covid Positive cases across Queensland. This is also the case for our College community for students, staff and families.
In supporting the health and wellbeing of our College community, we ask the following:
- monitor sympotms
- stay at home if you are sick
- complete a RAT or PCR test
- keep the school informed of positive test results
- consider wearing a mask when indoors or when close to others
The Premier of Queensland has strongly encouraged "children to be wearing masks in schools, as well as teachers, except for where you of course can socially distance".
When choosing to wear a mask on school grounds we ask that students and families bring a mask from home. In the instance that you are unable to obtain a mask, masks can be provided at our Student Services office.
Parents will be called to collect students that are showing flu-like symptoms. We ask that when called you endeavour to collect your child as quickly as possible.
With a significant increase in covid positive cases across Queensland and in our College community we can all play our part in keeping our school community safe.
