Being Respectful and Responsible: Code of Conduct for Buses and other Public Transport
It is wonderful to see a large number of our students who are now choosing Active School Travel, including cycling, scootering, walking and travelling by bus or car-pooling.
We are proud of our students who demonstrate respect and responsibility on a daily basis as they travel between home and school.
It is timely that we remind you of our College’s high expectations of students as they travel to and from school on buses.
Please refer to Code of Conduct for Buses and other Public Transport as outlined in Foxwell State Secondary College’s Responsible Behaviour Plan for Students and included below for your perusal. We would appreciate it, if you would take the time to ensure that your child, if they are bus users, understands the expectations in the Code of Conduct.
This Code of Conduct has been formulated by Education Queensland and Queensland Transport and applies to all students attending schools in Queensland and who use buses either to travel to and from school or for other school related activities, such as excursions and sport. Students must ensure that they have made arrangements so that they pay for their journey at all times.
