We are excited to announce that our 2022 Leadership application process was opened this week.
Students in Year 7, 8 and 9 are eligible to apply.
Students can access the applications through SharePoint or through the PDFs attached.
To be considered for a 2022 Leadership position, students must complete the written application as well as a 1 minute application video (details on the form).
These must be submitted to Mrs Bullock by 3pm on Tuesday 22nd February.
To apply, students must save their video to their Student ONEDRIVE then send the completed PDF application and link to their video to emgil0@eq.edu.au

In considering applications, please note that demonstration of leadership and SPIRIT Values as well as attendance, effort and behaviour will also be considered.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank Parents and Carers for their patience whilst we wait for our uniform stock to arrive.
Our uniform supplier, UMS, advised that their sales over the last three weeks exceeded last year by 387%. We saw an unprecented amount of families ordering their uniforms the week before school began. This has depleted some sizes of uniforms across the range.
If you do have an item on backorder or are awaiting an order to be filled, please visit the uniform shop to obtain a free substitute item.
If your child does not have the correct uniform due to these shortages, please ensure you complete and sign the Application for Temporary Uniform Variation and send with your child so we can provide them with a variation slip.

Tennis
Congratulations to Indyanna Stevens, Scarlett Smeltz and Bonnie Smeltz on making it into the 13-19yrs Tennis Broadwater District team. Recently these girls trialled for a spot on the South Coast team, with Scarlett going on to win and gain a spot on the 4-person squad. She will be travelling to the Sunshine Coast to compete for a position in the QLD team.
Girls Rugby League
Well done to Tiana Te Maari, Chezaan Kainui and Panatahi Awhikau-Tonga, as they have been selected in the Broadwater District Rugby League team. Soon they will attend a trial at the Tugun RLC to play for a spot on the South Coast team.

Swimming
We have a team of 8 students attending the Broadwater District Swimming Trials. This trial is for students to be selected for the Broadwater District team. Good luck to all students and we look forward to hearing how you all go.
Broadwater Sport Trials
A reminder to all students who are interested in trialling for a sport at District Broadwater level, must email their interest to trial to Mr Taylor at stayl328@eq.edu.au.
You need to include your name, DOB and which sport you intend to trial for. I will then send you the note and details of the trial for you to attend. NO NOTE, NO TRIAL!
As a general rule, you should only trial if you are playing your preferred sport outside of school at a high level.

The due date for the 2022 Student Resource Scheme has been extended to the 4th of March 2022. The extension of the due date applies to families that elected to pay the scheme fee in full and also the families who elected to pay by instalments.
Statement of accounts have been issued.
Our Student Resource Scheme covers many resources including the procurement and usage of software applications, iPad apps, online textbooks, student ID card & printing allocations.
Do you receive Family Tax Benefit A or B from Centrelink? If so, you can nominate a fixed amount to be paid form your Family Tax Benefit directly to the School to cover your child's education costs. You can submit the form directly to the Finance Department via email at finance@foxwellssc.eq.edu.au
